Dr. Jafar Assaf
Dr. Jafar Assaf has been in private practice since 1985. In his career, he has provided services for over 200,000 patients and continues to deliver the best quality of care in dentistry.
Dr. Jafar Assaf is very experienced in full mouth reconstruction, dental implants, oral surgery, Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry. He has completed thousands of hours in training in all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Jafar Assaf is a past member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a current member with the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and local dental societies.
Dr. Jafar Assaf loves traveling especially on cruises, spending time with his 11 grandchildren and wife of 50 years.
Dr. Gina Assaf
Dr. Gina Assaf followed her father’s footsteps and received her dental degree from USC School of Dentistry in 2011. After graduating, she obtained her dental licenses in two states, practicing dentistry in Missouri as well as in California. She is a current member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and local dental societies.
Dr. Gina Assaf emphasizes patient’s comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enabling her to provide her patients with the best quality of care in the field.
Dr. Gina Assaf is certified in IV Conscious Sedation, Invisalign, BOTOX and also has extensive training in cosmetic and general dentistry.
Dr. Gina Assaf loves exercising, spending time with her four children and husband, and volunteering at her children’s schools.
Dr. Mary-Ann Khamis
Dr. Mary-Ann Khamis is a Southern California native who earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. With over a decade of clinical experience, she is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on both general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Khamis is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, Glidewell Guiding Leaders, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. She is committed to continuing education and is a dedicated member of SPEAR Education, where she continues to refine her skills and stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
As a certified Invisalign provider, Dr. Khamis is passionate about helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles through personalized treatment plans and advanced techniques.
Outside of the office, Dr. Khamis enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. She also has a fun and creative side, with a “secret” hobby of building LEGO creations.
Dr. Eli Tabariai
Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Tabariai completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Los Angeles before entering the School of Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. After dental school he joined an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at the University Medical Center in Fresno, California. After two years of the surgery internship, he went on to becoming a resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After his graduation he continues to be a part-time attending at Fresno Community Regional Medical Center and the full time On Call Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, Ca.
Dr. Nischit Shah
Nischit Shah DDS MSD, a periodontist here at Tustin Dental Group. I’ve been a periodontist since 2018.
Gum health is often overlooked by patients and dentists alike, and that’s a main reason I wanted to become a periodontist. Because many patients are better about caring for their teeth than caring for their gums, the perio niche is a unique place to educate patients on the oral microbiome and its relationship to one’s overall health.
As a periodontist, my specialties are gum surgery, soft tissue grafts, bone grafts, tooth extractions, and dental implants.
